“ Absolutely delightful - husband doesn’t really ‘do’ sushi so Emi suggested some delicious meat dishes for him while I shared a set with my daughter - we got an amazing array of lush flavours, very fresh & well presented. Service was great too. So much food that we’ve taken some home & I’m already wishing for tomorrow so I can eat it, though it won’t be as good as sit down when it’s freshly prepared. Definitely a reason to eat out in Coulsdon & they’ve been here 6 years so if you haven’t been / GO!!! ”

“ I honestly never expected to eat so well in a small restaurant in a little-known street in Croydon. After leaving Gatwick airport, I searched on Google Maps for a Japanese restaurant near me that was open until 10pm, I found this one, I was very lucky. I made a big order because we were very hungry. I tried everything and I was very satisfied, especially the fried food. The place is small but well organized and clean, the service was excellent. Absolutely recommended. ”

“ Absolutely INCREDIBLE restaurant, the staff are wonderful, the food was delectable- the chef here really is an artist- absolutely nothing to fault here whatsoever. My partner and I went for Friday dinner, after I just happened to walk past the previous night and thought it looked interesting. We recently moved to the area from Streatham and were on the hunt for a new go to local restaurant (we were spoilt for choice previously, being so close to Tooting market, and do like to eat out fairly regularly), I think we’ve found it! We are yet to try any of the sushi, but the small plates were very impressive, my partner is vegetarian and there were so many options for him- it’s really nice when a restaurant puts care and consideration into their veggie options rather than leaving it as an after thought. Of course I forgot to take many pictures but the short rib was EPIC so that ended up on my camera roll. 10/10 would recommend ”

“ Well well well what can I say about this place... Hidden Gem... Faultless and Amazing.. Cannot speak highly enough... Service 5 stars... Personable, catered for dietary requirements without fuss.... very good attention to detail and a great amount of charisma fills this small restaurant. Food.. Exceptional, Epic, Excellent. The pork belly sensational, the lamb chop great quality and cooked to perfection... The sushi and shashimi was fresh and there was some great combinations. We had the Full Moon tasting menu which is 30 and worth every penny... The portions were great filled up 4 men with strong appetites... So glad I have found this place... Cannot wait till next time... ”
